Elizabeth Miller (Libby)

I have planning, management, research and coding experience. I can keep up with large volumes of information and filter the right pieces to the right people. I can talk to technical and business people, run meetings, create and document processes, and write requirements. I'm good at getting people to do things and getting things done myself. I've worked in a startup environment.

I'm a co-creator of the well-known FOAF Semantic Web vocabulary, and have worked on Semantic Web query languages, prototypes and data modelling. I helped build early Semantic Web and FOAF communities through formal and informal means, including via an EU project, which I co-wrote and co-ran.

My current main interests are linked and open data and APIs, personal statistics and APIs to TV.

Current Role

I'm currently a Project Manager within BBC Research and Development, working on the NoTube Project, an EU-funded project about the future of Web and TV.
